A ban where your posts are invisible to others but you don't know it.
A shadowban makes your posts and comments invisible to everyone except yourself. Reddit applies shadowbans to spam accounts and rule violators. Marketers can get shadowbanned for posting too many links, using URL shorteners, or being reported as spam. Test your status at r/ShadowBan.
